What is Computex 2026?

Computex was founded in 1981 and has grown alongside the global ICT industry for more than four decades. It now draws tens of thousands of buyers to Taiwan every year. The 2025 edition welcomed 86,521 buyers from 152 countries, and 2026 builds on that with 1,500 exhibitors and 6,000 booths spread across four venues.

The 2026 theme, AI Together, maps the global AI value chain across three core topics: AI and Computing, Robotics and Mobility, and Next-Gen Tech. In practice that runs from chip design and high performance computing through to smart infrastructure, industry applications and edge intelligence. If you want a single view of where AI hardware is actually heading, Computex is the show that puts it all in one place.

Computex 2026 also marks clear year-on-year growth. The 2025 edition had 1,400 exhibitors. The 2026 edition steps up to 1,500 exhibitors and 6,000 booths, with exhibitors from 33 countries and regions. That growth reflects how much new hardware the AI cycle is pulling onto the show floor.

Computex 2026 dates, timings and venues

Computex 2026 runs from Tuesday 2 June to Friday 5 June 2026. The exhibition is open to business professionals throughout, and the general public is admitted on the final day, 5 June, with tickets bought on site. Adult tickets are NT$200 per person. A NT$100 concession ticket is available at the venue for senior citizens over 65 and physically or mentally challenged visitors, plus one accompanying person.

Show hours are 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM on 2 to 4 June. On 5 June, hours are 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM at TaiNEX 1 and 2, and 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM at TWTC Hall 1. The four venues sit across Taipei's Nangang and Xinyi districts. The Taipei MRT makes them easy to reach: get off at Nangang Exhibition Center station, which is on both the Brown and Blue lines, for TaiNEX 1 and 2. Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) is about 35 minutes out on the Taoyuan MRT Airport Line.

What to expect on the Computex 2026 show floor

Computex 2026 is organised into around 15 exhibit zones, on top of the keynote and forum programme. The 2026 edition adds two new highlight zones at TWTC Hall 1 and keeps the established showcases for AI, computing and startups. Here is what to plan time for.

AI and computing

  • AI processors, GPUs, AI servers and high performance computing

  • Cloud-to-edge orchestration and on-device intelligence

  • Major brands including ASUS, Acer, MSI, GIGABYTE, BenQ and ASRock

  • Contract manufacturers such as Foxconn, Compal, Pegatron and Wiwynn

  • Component leaders including MediaTek, Intel, Delta and Vertiv Taiwan

This is the core of the show and the part most signage hardware buyers will spend the most time in. The processors and servers on display here are the same building blocks that end up inside media players and controllers a generation later.

Robotics Zone (new, at TWTC Hall 1)

  • AI robotics applications across healthcare, logistics, retail and everyday environments

  • Machine vision, embedded systems and smart applications

  • Participating companies including Intel, YUAN, Texas Instruments, Solomon and E Ink

TechXperience Zone (new, at TWTC Hall 1)

  • Immersive technology demonstrations

  • Hands-on AI experiences across consumer and enterprise use cases

  • Next-generation productivity demonstrations

InnoVEX startup platform and other zones

InnoVEX is the curated startup platform inside Computex. It connects global startups with venture capital firms, accelerators and national pavilions, and it has built a reputation as a gateway into Asian innovation markets. Alongside InnoVEX and the new zones, Computex 2026 runs dedicated areas for Semiconductors, Smart Mobility and drone tech, Gaming, Industrial IoT and advanced communication and networking. If you are sourcing across categories, the zone layout makes it easier to plan a route than you might expect from a show this size.

Keynotes and the Computex Forum

The keynote line-up is a strong reason to land in Taipei early. NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang delivers the GTC Taipei keynote on 1 June at the Taipei Music Center, the day before Computex opens, with NVIDIA's GTC Taipei conference then running 2 to 4 June at the Taipei International Convention Center. At Computex itself, Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano R. Amon gives the opening keynote on the afternoon of 1 June at TaiNEX Hall 2, and Marvell Chairman and CEO Matt Murphy delivers a keynote on 2 June. All three sit at the centre of the AI silicon supply chain that powers next-generation signage media players. Computex Forum 2026 is a separate paid conference programme that goes deeper into the same themes with senior technology leaders.

Who should attend Computex 2026?

Computex 2026 is built for senior technology buyers, OEMs and ICT decision makers. You will get value from the trip if your role sits in any of these areas:

  • Hardware OEMs, ODMs and contract manufacturers

  • Display, media player and signage controller product managers

  • AI, computer vision and analytics product leaders

  • AV integrators sourcing components for large-scale digital signage rollouts

  • Retail technology, kiosk and self-service terminal manufacturers

  • Investors, analysts and corporate development teams covering ICT and AI

  • Distributors and channel partners sourcing hardware for India, APAC and other global markets

  • Enterprise IT leaders evaluating AI infrastructure

Why Computex 2026 matters for digital signage professionals

A large share of the world's digital signage displays, media players and controllers are designed, built or sourced in Taiwan. That makes Computex the most useful annual event for seeing the next generation of those components before they reach the market. If your business depends on the signage hardware supply chain, the four days in Taipei pay for themselves in supplier conversations alone.

The AI Together theme is directly relevant too. On-device AI, edge computing, computer vision and audience-aware content are all moving into retail signage, DOOH and smart city screens. Seeing the silicon roadmap up close helps you plan which media player platforms will still be supportable in three years. If you want a primer on what to weigh up on the software side, our guide to the features to look for in digital signage software pairs well with the hardware view at the show, and our Willbox media player page gives a sense of what current signage hardware looks like in practice.

How to register for Computex 2026

Computex 2026 is open to business professionals from 2 to 5 June. Pre-registration is on the official website at computextaipei.com.tw, under Visitor and then Pre-Registration. You will need to register as a free TAITRA member first. General public access is on 5 June only, with tickets bought at the venue.

International delegates who need a visa should request a Visa Invitation Letter during registration. Allow at least four weeks for Taiwan visa processing so paperwork does not hold up your trip.

Travel and planning tips for Computex 2026

Computex spans four venues across two districts, so it pays to plan your route before each day rather than on the morning. A few things that help:

  • Fly into Taoyuan International Airport (TPE). The Taoyuan MRT Airport Line runs directly into central Taipei

  • Stay in Nangang, Xinyi or eastern Taipei for the shortest commute across the venues

  • Use the Taipei MRT. Nangang Exhibition Center station serves TaiNEX 1 and 2

  • Plan a minimum of three days. Computex is one of the largest trade shows in Asia and a single day will not cover it

  • Pre-book sourcing meetings and InnoVEX appointments through the official Computex platform

  • Carry both NT dollar cash and a credit card. Smaller exhibitors often still prefer cash for samples
